Common questions about using CoffeeStops

What is CoffeeStops?

A cyclist-focused map of coffee stops, crowd-sourced by riders. No ads, no paid placements.

How do I find coffee stops?

Search by name or location, browse the map, or filter by tags, minimum rating, or distance from you.

Why don't I see distance to stops?

That needs location access in your browser. Allow it when prompted, or check your browser's site permissions if you said no by mistake.

How do I navigate to a stop?

Tap Navigate to open directions in Google Maps. Opening hours are shown there too — look for the “Opening hours” link next to the stop's address.

What do the five rating categories mean?

Beverages/Coffee, Food, Service & hospitality, WC/Toilet facilities, and Atmosphere & feel — each rated 1–5 stars.

How do I add a coffee stop?

Sign in, tap “Add CoffeeStop,” drop a pin or search for the place, and fill in the details. It appears on the map right away.

Why do some stops have no photos?

Photos come from the people who add or visit a stop — there's no official photoshoot. If you've been there, add your own from the stop's page.

Why do I need to sign in to contribute?

To prevent spam and so you can edit or remove what you've added later. Browsing the map never requires an account.

How do I report incorrect or inappropriate content?

Open the stop and use the report/flag option. An admin reviews it.

What happens to my contributions if I delete my account?

Coffee stops and photos you added stay on the map, anonymized. Ratings and reports you made are deleted. See Delete account for the full breakdown.
